Day 3 of the Jam


Lighting mobs and a little game UI

So this has been a frustrating piece of work. Unity lighting has become a nightmare if you just want to do something basic. adding to the fact they have no lighting for sprites in 3D were the common answer is write your own. All that’s find under non jam circumstances but wasting 8 hours on it was frustrating.

Anyway we now have a really basic and partially hand-coded-cheated-really-really bad lighting solution for sprites. Some UI and basic MOB dev done.

Things we Achieved

  • Fought and called it a draw with the lighting system
  • Updated some textures
  • Added basic game UI
  • Fixed stair spawning

Next steps

  • Continue with MOB development
  • Add cards to the Character UI
